The Flathead Lacrosse Club is certainly growing fast this season and we strive to offer our programs to the most people possible.

Our boys programs are certainly well established but our girls program is struggling to draw enough players at the currently scheduled time.

In an effort to get our girls program jump started this season we will switch time slots for the U-15 boys team and the Girls team. This will allow 5-8 more high school girls to play lacrosse this spring. If we don't make this switch we will not have enough girls to start a program this year.

The U-15 boys will practice on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30-6:00pm.

The Girls Team will practice on Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8:00pm.

Our coaching staff has explored several options within the constraints of our budget, field time allotment, and coaching commitments. We have decided this is the best option to allow Flathead lacrosse club to offer a girls lacrosse program this season. I apologize for the change and hope you will understand the reasons why we need to change times.

Thank you for understanding.  Please leave a comment if you have any questions or concerns.

Hey Girls!
We have about one month to recruit a group of girls to play lacrosse this spring.  Please help make this happen by registering today and inviting a friend to come play lacrosse with you.
This will be a year to build interest and develop fundamental skills. Girls do not need any experience to play lacrosse. The coaches will teach you everything you need to know to play the game. We plan to develop a team of girls this year to play other girls teams in the future.

The girls program (Grades 6-12) will be coached by 2-4 very experienced women who have grown up playing lacrosse in high school and the college level in the hotbeds of the sport in the United States.  These ladies are excited and honored to pick up a stick again and teach the women's game of lacrosse to our local girls.  Our coaches will be certified by the US Lacrosse Level 1 training program in addition to their many years of playing experience.

The girls team will practice at Grouse Mountain Fields from April 3- May 17th on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm.  We have an opportunity to play a game at the Montana state championship in Missoula on May 19th if our team is interested.

The costs to play will be the team dues, $79. This covers the costs of operating the club ( field use fees, paint, balls, and goalie equipment ) and a practice jersey. Each player will need to purchase a stick and goggles ( Girls Equipment stick/goggles/bag package $79 +20% off discount code  is coming soon forlax.com ) and a US Lacrosse membership, $25-35 (this includes insurance coverage which is required to use the city facilitates).

To register for our programs or find out more information visit the girls lacrosse page. You can complete registration online or come to our registration night to drop off paperwork or payments and meet the coaches (March 6th 5-8pm at Whitefish Saddle Club building MAP).

Lacrosse will quickly become your favorite sport. Lacrosse is a sport which builds passionate players for a lifetime. Once you pick up a stick you will forever be a part of the growing lacrosse family and quickly meet other players who are also passionate about a great sport.   Encourage a friend to come out and play lacrosse with you this spring.  This program can only be possible if some players sign up.

Please help spread the news about the girls lacrosse program.  Hang up some fliers (Download one here) in your school or community and join our Facebook Page. You can also forward this email on to anyone you know who is interested in playing lacrosse.

If you have any questions please post a comment below. Coach Erin Grieco (egrieco13@yahoo.com) can answer any questions about the program, equipment, or the game of women's lacrosse.

This spring we are proud to finally add a girls program to the Flathead Lacrosse Club! This season will be dedicated to building a team to introduce new players to the sport and generate interest. No experience is necessary and we welcome all players from any school. Invite your friends and help spread the word to potential players.

All girls in 6th through 12th grade are encouraged to register for the season now.  This spring we will have practice on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 4:30-6:00pm. Practice will begin in early April and go until May 19th. If we have enough interest we can make arrangements to play in the Montana State Championshi
